On Budtello, Oregon's wholesale cannabis marketplace, a dispensary stars a lot to show interest, and a farm can then send a price just to buyers who starred it, or set a standing price for that dispensary alone, both below the lot's list price.
How to do it
- Press Add to favourites on a lot to star it, so the farm sees it has interest and can send a price to everyone who starred it
- Open Showings (on a phone, tap the icon at the top) and check Prices from farms on your stars, where a starred lot's price appears once the farm sends one
- Open the farm's name to see Their prices with you, where any price it has set just for your account shows as read only
- Press Accept on the row with the lot, which becomes this buyer's price for that lot for 75 days

- No back-and-forth calls or emails chasing a farm for a better number on a lot already of interest
- Starring shows real interest first, so the price that comes back is aimed at buyers who already want the lot
- A farm's custom price for one dispensary sits in that dispensary's own panel, not shared anywhere else
