How do I create an offer to send to a buyer?

On Budtello, Oregon's wholesale cannabis marketplace, you tick lots on Sell, set a price for each, then press Create and copy email to send a private price list to one customer.

How to do it

  1. Click Create offer on a narrow screen, Offer — the Create offer window opens with your rows ticked; untick a row to leave it out
  2. Under Set your prices, set each price in Offer $/lb: type it, or click −$25 or +$25 (the buttons beside Adjust all selected move every ticked row at once)
  3. Optional, under Who it's for, type the customer's name in Customer, and a Note if you want one
  4. Under How long it's good for, move the slider (it starts at 14 days and runs from 1 day to No expiry)
  5. Click Create and copy email — you'll see "Sent — live now" with the link, and Undo with a count of seconds

How to send a private offer. Tick the lots for this customer. An offer is a private price, for them alone. Press Create offer. Your list price, beside the price for this customer. Move them all at once, or type any price. Who it's for, and a note they'll see. How long it's good for: fourteen days, unless you change it. Here, seven days. Press Create and copy email. It's live, with thirty seconds to undo. Paste it into Gmail; they open it with no account. The full guide is in Budtello's help pages.

Good to know

  • A lot with no price can still go in the offer, but Budtello asks you to give it one before you go on
  • The offer is a private price list on its own link; your prices on the market do not change
  • Undo stops the link within 30 seconds if you need to pull it back
