This changed. Budtello has changed since this answer was checked; it is being rewritten.
On Budtello, Oregon's wholesale cannabis marketplace, closing a request moves it from Active to History on the buyer's side, and the matching quote in the seller's Messages thread with that buyer changes to Expired.
How to do it
- On the buyer's Requests tab, the request they opened and pressed Close as not filled on now shows the line Closed as not filled — moved here from Active.
- Still in Requests, the closed request has moved into the buyer's History, where closed requests live.
- In the seller's Messages (on a phone, tap the icon at the top) thread with that buyer, the quote's price card now reads Expired instead of its sent price.
- The seller's note on that quote, such as delivery or pickup details, stays visible in the thread under the expired price card.
Good to know
- Closing a request closes the quote with it: there is no separate step to withdraw a quote once the buyer closes.
- Nothing is deleted. The request stays in the buyer's History and the expired quote stays in the seller's Messages thread.
