On Budtello, Oregon's wholesale cannabis marketplace, a farm can send a private price to every dispensary that starred a lot, or build a private offer for one named customer, while the lot's listed price on the market stays the same.
How to do it
- See how many buyers starred a lot: on Sell, a starred lot's price line shows a count of starred buyers with the option to send a price.
- Send that group a lower price without touching the list price: type a price into the box for buyers who starred the lot and press Send - the line then shows it was sent, and until when.
- Make a private offer for one named customer instead: open Create offer, set a price per lot under Offer $/lb, and press Create and copy email to get a link - the market price never changes.

How to send a private offer. Tick the lots for this customer. An offer is a private price, for them alone. Press Create offer. Your list price, beside the price for this customer. Move them all at once, or type any price. Who it's for, and a note they'll see. How long it's good for: fourteen days, unless you change it. Here, seven days. Press Create and copy email. It's live, with thirty seconds to undo. Paste it into Gmail; they open it with no account. The full guide is in Budtello's help pages.
Good to know
- A farm sees only how many buyers starred a lot, never which ones
- A starred price runs for a set window before it needs resending, and an accepted one becomes that buyer's own price for a run of days in your conversation with them
- An offer's link works for the one customer it's made for and carries whatever note you add - no phone call or email chain needed to agree it
