How to ask a seller to show you lots.
Want to see lots before you buy? Ask for a showing: the seller brings samples.
Tick each lot you want to see.
Then press Request to see.
You get one card for each seller.
In My target, type the price you hope to pay a pound.
Pick a day and time, Pacific.
Send request.
Now it waits on the seller: forty-eight hours to accept your target, counter, or keep the list price. A price you agree is yours for seventy-five days.
The full guides are in Budtello's help pages.
A showing is a visit where the seller brings samples. When you ask for one, you can also ask a price on each lot.
Before you start
- Your licence is verified. The Showings page opens only after that.
- Set your showing hours with Set your showing times at the top of the Showings page. Your free days then show up as choices, and a seller who offers another time picks one inside them.
- All showing times are Pacific time.
Request to see lots
On the market, tick the box beside the strain of each lot you want to see.

Step 1 Click Request to see in the bar at the bottom of the screen. On a phone, the button above the table reads Request, with the number of lots ticked.

Step 2 You should see: The Showings tab in the top bar: one numbered card for each seller.
In My target / lb, type the price you hope to pay for each lot. Leave it empty to ask no price. A lot marked Firm price takes no target.

Step 3 Pick a Day and a Time from your showing hours. With no hours set, type it in Day and time (Pacific). A showing starts at least 30 minutes from now.

Step 4 If the seller needs to know something, such as which door or who to ask for, write it in Message (optional).

Step 5 Click Send request.
You should see: The showing under You asked for, marked Waiting on seller.
- The seller has 48 hours to answer each target: accept it, counter, or keep the list price. After 48 hours with no answer, the lot reads No answer.
- A counter shows as Counter and a price. Click Accept counter to take it, within 48 hours.
- If the seller offers another time, the card reads New time — confirm. Click Confirm, or Cancel.
- A price you agree is yours for 75 days.
- A new time or a counter waiting on you also shows under Needs you in Messages.
Answer a showing
Click Showings in the top bar, between Messages and Sell. Requests to you are under Asked of you, marked Waiting on you. A showing waiting on you is also a row under Needs you in Messages; click the row to open its card.
For each lot with a target, click Accept target, Counter or Firm at list. Answer before the time shown under “Answer by”.
For a counter, type a price above the buyer's target and below your list price. Click Send counter.
For the time, click Accept time (here or on the Needs you row). Or click Other time, pick a day and time (inside the buyer's showing hours, if they set any) and click Send time.
To say no, click Decline, add a note if you want, then Decline it.
After the time of a confirmed showing has passed, click Done or They didn't show.
